What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Empire Die Casting Co.?
Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs all aspects of traffic control in regard to customer satisfaction with on time deliveries.
Duties but not limited to:
- Call trucks, etc. for pick-up
- Able to use label machine to create and print labels when needed
- Fill out certification properly when needed
- Prepare all paperwork in regards to UPS, FedEx, etc. for shipment
- Watch stock balance on certain accounts and inform the Manufacturing Manager and customer service
- Run open order query in company database
- Order boxes and pallets
- Supply pick-list to shipping department employees
- Enter packing instructions in database
- Provide training to shippers in pulling, placing orders, receiving orders, and delivering orders
- Track orders
Skills & Qualifications but not limited to:
- Certified through Empire Die Casting to operate lift trucks
- High School, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Products and windows basic computer system
- Knowledge of warehouse functions and all procedures applying to the shipping department

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
