Job Summary
Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk – 1st Shift in our Tooling Business Center at our Engines Products - Cleveland Operations, the Brecksville Location. This position is responsible for supporting all facets of production operations. These activities include but not are limited to shipping/receiving, safety activities, shop floor cleanliness, along with any other tasks required to support production in meeting our customer demands.
Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines, and cleaner power generation.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the requisitioning, receiving, storing, shipping and control of materials and goods used in the Tooling Business Center production process.
- Check materials against orders and visually inspects materials.
- Compiles and audits information on receipt of inventories.
- Preparation of bills of lading, shipping records, proper container marking, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Prepares shipments for customers and outside service vendors.
- Assists with the loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure inventory transactions are taking place in a timely manner and issues are solved to root cause.
- Complete projects and tasks assigned by the Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Ensure safe work practices and that all EHS policies and requirements are being followed.
- Additionally, all employees are expected to be actively engaged in the continuous improvement of safety practices in all areas of the facility.
- Any other activities assigned by your manager.
