Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (OB/GYN Office)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our OB/GYN practice. The NP will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to provide high-quality care to patients in a supportive and patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include conducting exams, diagnosing conditions, managing treatments, and providing education and counseling on women’s health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
· Diagnose and treat common gynecological and obstetric conditions.
· Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including monitoring fetal development and maternal health.
· Perform routine gynecologic exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and STI screenings.
· Educate patients on contraception options, reproductive health, and family planning.
· Assist with minor in-office procedures, such as IUD insertions and biopsies.
· Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds and lab work.
· Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
· Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, wellness, and preventive care.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, medical assistants, and specialists.
· Stay updated on advancements in women's healthcare and participate in professional development.
Qualifications:
· Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in New York State.
· Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
· Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with experience in OB/GYN.
· Minimum of [1] years of experience in an OB/GYN or women’s health setting preferred.
· Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
