What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Empire Precision Fans?
This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in preventive maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, and repairs for CNC lathes, milling machines, and other systems.
Shift flexibility is available, with openings on both first and second shifts. A 15% shift differential applies to second-shift employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, and repairs on CNC lathes and milling machines, including Mikron, Haas, and Hermle models.
- Learn and carry out routine maintenance for CNC machinery, identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
- Develop expertise in understanding complex control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC or facility systems, ensuring repairs address malfunctions effectively.
- Install and inspect heating, cooling, and ventilation systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Serve as part of the rotating on-call team to provide after-hours operational support, with additional on-call pay.
