We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join our team. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for existing products and services. The Cost Estimator will need to be able to analyze data, interpret customer requirements, and generate accurate cost estimates.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer requirements and develop accurate and timely cost estimates for existing products and services.
- Leverage knowledge of industry trends and costs to adjust estimates accordingly.
- Monitor cost and budget trends to ensure estimates remain accurate and up-to-date.
- Generate detailed reports on cost estimates and present findings to management.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
- Maintain accurate records of cost estimates and ensure accuracy of data.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure availability of resources.
- Research potential new vendors and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in cost estimating or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Filemaker (preferred).
