Logistics Customer Service Rep.
1st Shift
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 DOE
Location: Oakland, CA
Job description:
CSR or clerk is responsible for coordinating with customs broker for clearance of import shipments, maintaining inventory records in accordance with US Customs and warehousing procedures.
Task and responsibilities:
- Supports to Customs broker with reports of import shipments.
- Receive inbound material.
- Support the inbound inventory process.
- Pick up the customer order in a timely and proper manner.
- Check material for damage, missing items or lack of information.
- Responsible for interacting directly with truck drivers at designated window to process paperwork
- Verify deliveries
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Manage documents all daily loading and unloading.
- Work closely with transportation providers to implement best practices.
- Keep accurate records and audit trails of all material received, shipped, or returned.
- Clearance and audit processes
- Apply regulations, company policy and customer requirements in all business unit.
- Conducting internal audits and other assignments.
- Prepare and submit reports.
Salary : $20 - $25
