Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Architect to join our office in Ames, IA. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your design expertise to a wide variety of exciting projects, including new constructions, additions, and renovations. You'll work closely with owners and team members in a collaborative environment, applying your skills to develop creative and responsible solutions. Responsibilities:
- Apply your architectural experience (2 years) to the design and development of diverse projects (medical, industrial, commercial, residential).
- Utilize your proficiency in Revit to create and manage project models.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and project details both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, internal team members, and consultants.
- Work independently on multiple projects, managing your time and tasks efficiently.
- Contribute to the development of creative and responsible architectural solutions.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to address design and technical challenges.
- Leverage your organizational skills to maintain project documentation and meet deadlines.
- Potentially utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape/Lumion, and Microsoft Office Suite in your daily work.
Qualifications:
- Architecture graduate with 2 years of professional architectural experience.
- Must be proficient in Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with Enscape and/or Lumion for visualization is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to multi-task.
- Solid design skills and a passion for creating high-quality architecture.
