Automation Technician (PM Shift) (On-Site) – $39 to $41/hr

What will you be doing?
- Contribute to project completion, manage your own time, and lead small project teams.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and systems function safely and efficiently.
- Generate standard operating procedures and job aids to support systems and equipment.
- Analyze operational process problems and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
- Manage change control authoring, actions, and execution.
- Modify control logic and install electrical and control systems to enhance performance.
- Follow general shop safety practices, including handling and storage of potentially dangerous equipment.
- Use electrical testing equipment like multi-meters, clamp-on current meters, and meggers to troubleshoot issues.
- Read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.
What do you bring?
- MUST HAVE:
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience.
- Familiarity with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
- Experience in troubleshooting to root cause and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong teamwork spirit and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication (written and oral).
- NICE TO HAVE:
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Understanding of programming and proficiency in at least one language.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, Windows servers, and virtualization.
- Experience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents.
