As a Maintenance Team Lead, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the Maintenance and Production teams. What’s the Job?
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians to complete work orders during planned production downtime.
- Support reactive maintenance activities on MIG and resistance spot welding equipment, robotics, and hydraulics.
- Ensure completion of daily shift reports and coach the team on documenting equipment breakdowns.
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements while coaching and developing your team.
- Implement and sustain the company's Production System through standardized work processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
What’s Needed?
- 3-5 years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- 1 year of lead or supervisory experience in a similar setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and coach a diverse maintenance team.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
