What will you be doing?
- Set up and operate molding machines according to specifications and work instructions
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
- Inspect finished parts for defects and take corrective actions as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on molding machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions
- Assist in the setup and changeover of molding machines
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow all safety and company policies and guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What do you bring?
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in plastic injection molding preferred
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of molding processes, tooling, and materials
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain machines
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting
- Compliance: Ability to pass a background screen
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that involve frequent bending and stooping
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts
