Wiring Technician

We are currently seeking a candidate with switchgear experience for a client in Louisville, Ohio!

In this position, you will be working with a company that has been an electrical services and equipment provider for over 75 years. Customers power and production is their top priority!

Hours :

  • 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm Mandatory overtime when needed

Pay :

  • 18-24 / hr Based on Experience

    • Responsibilities :

  • Read / interpret schematics, drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to determine work order specifications
  • Assemble electrical systems, install components into equipment
  • Adjust / repair / replace electrical and electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specs
  • Position / align / adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly
  • Clean parts using cleaning solutions and air hoses
  • Drill / tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units
  • Confer with supervisors and engineers to plan and resolve production problems
  • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies and circuits

    • Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years previous wiring / electrical experience
  • 1 years previous experience working with switchgear
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs / climb ladders / stand / kneel repeatedly
  • Training in a technical discipline, trade school or electrical theory preferred
