Wiring Technician
We are currently seeking a candidate with switchgear experience for a client in Louisville, Ohio!
In this position, you will be working with a company that has been an electrical services and equipment provider for over 75 years. Customers power and production is their top priority!

Hours :
1st Shift, Monday-Friday 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am Mandatory overtime when needed
Pay :
18-24 / hr Based on Experience
Responsibilities :
Read / interpret schematics, drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to determine work order specifications
Assemble electrical systems, install components into equipment
Adjust / repair / replace electrical and electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specs
Position / align / adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly
Clean parts using cleaning solutions and air hoses
Drill / tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units
Confer with supervisors and engineers to plan and resolve production problems
Inspect wiring installations, assemblies and circuits
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED
2 years previous wiring / electrical experience
1 years previous experience working with switchgear
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to lift 50 lbs / climb ladders / stand / kneel repeatedly
Training in a technical discipline, trade school or electrical theory preferred
