What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at Employ-Temps Staffing Service?

Warehouse Lead

We are currently seeking candidates with strong experience in warehouse operations for a customer in Medina known globally for building machines famous for reliability, efficiency, and longevity.

In this position you will be the connection between two warehouses and the Operations Manager, leading the picking / packing, shipping / receiving and general warehouse activities.

Shift :

1st Shift Monday-Friday 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM.

Pay :

Pay will be based on experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and perform all general warehouse responsibilities

Assist Operations Department and Warehouse Associates.

Enter data into systems and spreadsheets.

Provide excellent customer service.

Assist in warehouse inventory.

Oversee and utilize picking sheets for part retrieval

Count and confirm quantity of what is required to be picked

Use a scan gun to record what is being picked to the picklist itself.

Oversee and create shipping labels

Proper handling of orders for UPS and Fed Ex

Small packing for shipping and freight preparation

Minimum Requirements :

High school diploma / GED.

Inventory Control and warehouse experience required.

Must have Picking / Packing experience

Ability to read and explain a picking sheet and shipping labels

Tow motor experience required

Lead / Supervisor experience preferred

Strong computer skills.

Ability to walk and maneuver around warehouse.

UPS and FedEx terminal experience.
