About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will oversee all aspects of customer service, acting as the central liaison between EFP, our clients, insurance carriers, brokers, and vendors. You will ensure timely, accurate, and effective management of our client portfolio while maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, brokers, and vendors.
- Manage client escalations related to claims, product inquiries, underwriting, and billing.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Communicate client updates and changes to internal teams and external partners.
- Stay proficient in insurance products, payroll files, benefit administration, and claims processes.
- Coordinate billing setup and client re-enrollments, ensuring smooth implementation.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience).
- Experience: 4 years in customer service, billing, or claims management.
- Skills:
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and web-based systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensing: Must obtain a Health and Life license within 180 days of employment.
