Position Summary:
Position will be responsible for maintaining financial records, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other administrative duties. Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel, primarily. All employees of the Company are required to comply with the terms, conditions and obligations set forth in the Data Privacy and Security Manual as a condition of continued employment.
Job Description/Essential Functions:
? Enter, pay and research accounts payable.
? Generate and send invoices to clients, brokers and other third parties.
? Post journal entries and maintain general ledger.
? Reconcile bank accounts and make deposits.
? Compile and provide financial information to other departments upon request.
? Organize and file PDFs of paid bills and statements on network.
? Perform all other job functions or projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education Requirements:
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a minimum of one to five (1-5) years in an accounting role.
Experience Requirements:
· Effective knowledge of general accounting principles
· Able to consistently apply business office and operations policies and procedures
· Able to communicate with customers and counterparts in a friendly, professional, and confident manner
· Able to communicate in writing or verbally in a clear and effective manner
· Operational knowledge of office equipment and including but not limited to fax machine, copier, printer, calculator, and phone system
· Computer literacy skills to effectively utilize the business systems and software including MS Office
· Able to perform mathematical calculations with accuracy
· Able to exercise discretion when working with sensitive and confidential information
· Able to complete paperwork, reports, and other documentation in a legible, organized, and timely manner
