Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Payroll Management Professional to assist in payroll processing, data audits, compliance tasks, and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring payroll accuracy and supporting HR functions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for 1,000 employees.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry for new hires and rehires in the HRIS.
- Maintain virtual personnel files, ensuring proper documentation is stored securely.
- Conduct detailed payroll audits, including time tracking and leave requests.
- Process wage garnishments in compliance with court orders.
- Audit HRIS data for accuracy and completeness.
- Support unemployment claims processing.
- Build custom reports using Excel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one year experience in payroll or related administrative role preferred.
- Super-user proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, and advanced formulas required).
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
