We are seeking a dedicated Veteran to provide individualized career and training related services to Veterans and eligible persons with significant barriers to employment through case management processes and to advocate for all veterans served by the local America's Job Center of California (AJCC) with businesses, industry and other community based organizations. You would promote the Employment Development Department (EDD), Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) and Workforce Services (WS) programs by providing employer business services with the maximum emphasis directed toward hiring veterans, and by providing employment services with the maximum emphasis directed toward serving Veterans who are economically or educationally disadvantaged.
Position exists at 2550 N. State Street, Suite 3 Ukiah, CA 95482 ARU 134. Travel may be required with this position.

In State travel may be required to travel for training or to work at other Northern California locations. Be willing to work IN PERSON between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, although work days within each location may vary.Telework may be available depending on business needs.

Statement of Qualifications Requirements
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is Required. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Background Investigation Requirement
The position(s) may require an applicant to pass a background investigation. However, applicants will not be asked to provide information about a conviction history unless they receive a conditional offer of employment.
The department will make an individualized assessment of whether the conviction history has a direct or adverse relationship with the specific duties of the job and the work performed by the department. The department will consider potential mitigating factors, including, but not limited to, evidence and extent of rehabilitation, recency, nature and seriousness, and age at the time of the offense(s).
The investigation will consist of completion of a personal history statement and fingerprinting checks with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice, and/or local law enforcement agencies. Anyone failing to pass the background investigation will be provided information on how to appeal the process. A criminal conviction may not result in an automatic determination of "Not Qualified."
