Job Description
SGM is seeking a full-time Bridge Structural Engineer for our Glenwood Springs, CO office. Our team is responsible for the design, load rating, and inspection of bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures for a variety of public and private clients on the West Slope of Colorado. The key responsibilities for this position include working and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team, development of construction documents for structural projects, and self-managing design tasks with attention to the project scope, schedule, and budget. There will be occasional travel to site visits within the region. The successful candidate must be a fast learner who is an organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail. The candidate is expected to be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills and a strong desire to live, work and play in Western Colorado.
- Depending on experience level, the anticipated salary range for this position may be as follows:
- Engineer I (0-2 years) – $74,000 - $82,000 per year, and Engineer II (2-5 years) - $78,000 - $91,300 per year.
