Senior Program Manager

Position Summary:

As a Program Manager II, you will lead multiple concurrent aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with both customer and company objectives. You will be responsible for developing program plans, mitigating risks, overseeing financial performance, and maintaining effective communication with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure program success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Management: Oversee multiple concurrent programs, ensuring they meet customer and company objectives.
• Program Planning & Risk Management: Develop comprehensive program plans, including risk assessments and contingency strategies to ensure project success.
• Leadership of IPTs: Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, and driving accountability for timely deliverables.
• Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, providing program updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Bid & Proposal Support: Collaborate with business development teams to prepare bids, proposals, and accurate cost estimates to support new business opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of program management experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in financial metrics, including Work in Progress (WIP) and Earned Value Management (EVM); strong skills in MS Office Suite.
• Core Competencies: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities to manage diverse program teams effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to navigate between office spaces and production facilities as needed.
• Occasional travel to customer sites, including long periods of sitting during transportation.
• Strong visual acuity for reviewing technical documents and monitoring program performance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
