Employment Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting operational goals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can balance strategic HR planning with day-to-day HR operations. Salary - $60K - $85K
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, promoting a culture of trust, accountability, and teamwork.
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and facilitate open communication across all levels.
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace morale.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for production, administrative, and leadership roles.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate successfully.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify workforce needs and create strategic hiring plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEOC regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, safety programs, and risk management initiatives.
- Oversee performance review processes, goal setting, and employee development programs.
- Identify training needs and implement programs for skill enhancement, leadership development, and compliance.
- Support managers in coaching and developing their teams.
- Work with leadership to develop competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with industry standards.
- Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and employee education on available offerings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workforce development.
- Hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration.
