Empower AAC: Enhancing Communication for Individuals with Neurodiverse Needs
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Empower AAC. As an SLP with experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with neurodiverse needs to communicate effectively.
About the Position:
This part-time W-2 position offers flexibility and opportunities for growth into a full-time role. You will provide AAC therapy services in schools, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and support clients in finding their voice through AAC. Additionally, you will provide training and support to families and caregivers in using AAC systems at home and in the community.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New Jersey, CCC Required
- Experience with AAC and a strong understanding of its role in communication
- A neurodiversity-affirming mindset and commitment to inclusive, client-centered care
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
