Warehouse Manager/Supervisor - $70,000 - $80,000
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, managing a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing inventory in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, storing, and shipping products, and managing inventory levels.
- Lead, motivate and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that all team members are trained, equipped, and accountable for their responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities and ensure adherence to all established policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels, track inventory movements, and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments, including proper documentation and adherence to shipping/receiving schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, equipment, and personnel, using appropriate software tools.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and increase productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and WMS software.
