We aren’t your typical daycare! Empower Kidz is a boutique drop-in licensed, child care center and playspace for children from ages 6 weeks to 10.
Our goal is simple: to empower children to be confident, curious, and happy while supporting parents in balancing the many roles they play.
As the Director, you will:
- Drive Excellence: Lead the center’s daily operations, ensuring a nurturing and dynamic environment for children.
- Grow Financial Success: Develop strategies for increasing enrollment, retention, and revenue, and manage the overall budget.
- Inspire Your Team: Hire, train, and mentor a talented team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and success.
- Delight Families: Build strong relationships with families, exceed their expectations, and create lifelong connections.
- Champion Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulations and create a safe, clean, and welcoming space for everyone.
- Be the Face of Empower Kidz: Represent the center in the community, building partnerships, event planning/workshops, and promoting our mission.

About the Owner:
Empower Kidz is led by Jeannique, a visionary local business owner and entrepreneur who understands the unique balance of family and career. Jeannique is a mother of two small children and the owner of the next door business Empower Family Chiropractic . Her dedication to creating a vibrant, supportive space for children and parents sets the tone for a culture of purpose, care, and excellence. Working under her leadership means collaborating with someone who truly values passion, innovation, and community impact.
What We’re Looking For:
- A proven leader with a Bachelor’s degree and experience in childcare management, or equivalent qualifications as per Texas regulations.
- HIGHLY PREFERRED: Experience in a drop in childcare center and/or a drop in playspace.
- A deep understanding of child development, with a focus on creating fun and engaging play experiences.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets and achieve profitability.
- Marketing and promotions experience to build partnerships and build brand awareness.
- Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
- A passion for fostering community, teamwork, and innovation.
