As a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), this role drives the optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability. This position is a key force in advancing compounding operations, enhancing production capabilities, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to support the company’s mission of expanding access to quality, affordable medication.

• Develops, optimizes, and validates pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring robustness, compliance, and scalability to meet evolving production demands.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, improve yields, and enhance efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
• Leads technology transfer efforts for new product introductions, ensuring seamless integration from development to full-scale production while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Identifies and implements innovative process improvements, leveraging emerging technologies and lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous advancement in compounding operations.
• Champions a culture of operational excellence by proactively identifying risks, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards to safeguard product integrity and patient well-being.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Expertise in process validation, Good Manufacturing Practices, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies, with proficiency in software tools such as Statistical Analysis Software and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing science, or a related field within a highly regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environment, with demonstrated expertise in process optimization and scale-up.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.
• Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional (CPIP); Professional Engineer (PE) License; Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
