JOB SUMMARY :
A technology driven company focused on global industrial water treatment solutions. This is a hands-on role that involves working in a lab environment and commercial site and will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of water and wastewater treatment plants. They will be working with a team of other application engineers. This engineer will work closely with the process and proposals team to develop practical solutions driven by experimental data through feasibility studies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Conducts feasibility studies
Operates lab scale pilot units for different water treatment technologies
Prepare test plans, test reports, and present to the internal / external customers
Provide technical and hands-on support for the implementation of pilot studies and new pilot systems
Support commissioning / on-site related activities where and when required
Perform design calculations using membrane simulation tools, statics, and data collection software
Developing new process schemes utilizing emerging technologies
Organizes project priorities and ensures timely execution
Ensure data is managed and organized within a database
Develops standard protocols for operating pilot units
Manages the maintenance of equipment and supply of materials
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIRED :
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or relevant degrees
3 to 5 years’ experience in water treatment : chemical softening, membrane separation, thermal evaporation
Familiar with wet chemistry
Excellent analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
