Clinician (AMFT)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals, couples, and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents, in an outpatient setting. The AMFT will utilize various therapeutic techniques, including individual and group counseling, to promote mental wellness and facilitate personal growth.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families in an outpatient setting.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on behavioral health issues.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients.
• Utilize child therapy techniques as appropriate to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Skills

• Proficient in psychotherapy techniques and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation practices.
• Knowledgeable in behavioral health principles and mental health counseling strategies.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Ability to conduct effective individual and group counseling sessions.
• Familiarity with Child therapy as a therapeutic modality is a plus.
• Background in social work is beneficial for holistic client care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.80 - $26.26 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 15 per week
