Your Impact
The Clinician is responsible for leading and completing the assessment, diagnosis and development of the safety and treatment plan for youth in their assigned cottage, and for providing collateral, case management, individual, family, and group therapy, and care coordination to clients and families. The Clinician and leads the clinical treatment within the milieu and works as a part of a comprehensive treatment team to develop and utilize effective interventions with each youth.

Your Impact
The Clinician is responsible for leading and completing the assessment, diagnosis and development of the safety and treatment plan for youth in their assigned cottage, and for providing collateral, case management, individual, family, and group therapy, and care coordination to clients and families. The Clinician and leads the clinical treatment within the milieu and works as a part of a comprehensive treatment team to develop and utilize effective interventions with each youth.
Your Skills And Duties
- Completes client screenings/assessments in collaboration with cottage treatment team.
- Develops and implements safety and treatment plans in collaboration with cottage treatment team.
- Provides individual, family, or group therapy both in-person and in-cottage.
- Utilizes evidence based/promising practice principles (individually and as part of the cottage treatment team) to support youth.
- Contributes to building and maintaining a treatment milieu which supports trauma resolution and clinical progress for the youth.
- Lead the clinical milieu and participate in training/guiding all treatment team members.
- Completes and maintains documentation.
- Participates in required meetings.
- Adheres to all agency, contract, and state policies and regulations.
- Meets client care hours.
- Provides on-call emergency services and respond/mobilize to on-call on rotations as per the Agency’s standards.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work or Psychology/Counseling related field.
- Intern Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ACSW, AMFT, APCC or Registration as a Psychological Assistant with the Board of Health and Welfare
- Minimum of four (4) years’ clinical experience working with youth with complex trauma, significant behavioral challenges and preferably with youth in foster care or group home.
- Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e., Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
- Meets all compliance requirements of federal, state, and country regulations by periodic sanction checks.
