Job Overview:
Empowered Recovery Solutions is seeking Case Managers for its Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program to support applicants in understanding program requirements and provide continuous updates throughout the process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse range of applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with program leadership to ensure applicants understand program requirements.
- Gather and store required information in case management systems.
- Prepare documents such as letters to applicants.
- Communicate with applicants via phone, email, and in-person.
- Ensure all files are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with government agencies on program updates.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of case management experience, preferably in public housing or disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex documents like tax returns, property deeds, etc.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $21.18 - $25.62 per hour
