Duties * Operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations. * Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage. * Follow designated routes for efficient delivery while being adaptable to changes as necessary. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise. * Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. * Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Requirements * Valid CA driver's license. * Experience in route driving or as a courier preferred. * Ability to perform lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading. * Previous experience as a delivery driver * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
