Job Description
In this role, you will be the face of EMR to local customers and help drive operational excellence. You will lead, develop, and manage an experienced crew, overseeing safety, receiving, production, inventory control, quality control, and shipping of materials. Your understanding of scrap inventory management will be key to our success.
Responsibilities
- Create an excellent experience for customers and employees while minimizing costs and maximizing volume and margin at the facility
- Oversee preventative checks, maintenance, and repair of equipment and facilities
- Ensure accuracy of stock through systems management
- Oversee work product of third-party contractors
- Analyze data, set goals, make recommendations, and perform other duties as directed by Supervisor
Requirements
- Management/supervisory experience of daily operations, especially in an industrial environment
- Hands-on experience operating equipment, machinery, or warehouse work
- Experience in the recycling or demolition industry, with knowledge of scrap metal commodities
- Experience leading a team and committed to developing employees in job performance, safety, and teamwork
- Excel skills and the ability to learn proprietary software
- PMP certification or similar accreditation
