Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first EMR USA is seeking a motivated Torch Cutter to join our team in Dallas, TX . As a Torch Cutter, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the yard, processing materials to mill specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency. If you’re skilled, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a dynamic outdoor environment, this job is for you. Key Responsibilities : Maintain a clean and organized workplace. Identify and mitigate potential hazards before torching. Inspect PPE and torch equipment prior to each use. Process ferrous and nonferrous metals to mill specifications. Operate a six-foot torch and plasma torch to cut ship / vessel sections into 2’x3’ pieces. Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For : High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in torching and processing metals (0–2 years of experience). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work overhead, climb ladders, and kneel for extended periods. Willingness to work 40 hours per week, including overtime, in varying weather conditions (hot up to 110°F and cold as low as 35°F). Capability to work near moving equipment and wear a respirator for extended periods. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Work Environment : Outdoor setting with exposure to all weather conditions. Frequent bending, kneeling, standing, and working in tight spaces. Potential exposure to loud noise, requiring ear protection. Close proximity to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment operations. Why Join EMR?
