- Managing relationships with large suppliers and handling inquiries via email and phone.
- Updating contracts and pricing to reflect current agreements.
- Processing account requests for new customers.
- Booking collections across the UK based on customer job requests.
- Maintaining and updating our in-house system, Trade 2.
- Ensuring daily purchase ticket information is accurate.
- Informing customers of invoice weights and securing payments promptly.
- Performing ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by the Depot Manager or Head Office.
- Proven experience in a busy office environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Customer service experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of confidentiality when handling customer and supplier account information.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Team player with the ability to work independently using your initiative.
- Detail-oriented and a good listener with problem-solving skills.
