In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to employees experiencing issues with hardware, software, networking, telephones, and other technological challenges. You will also be responsible for imaging and configuring new desktop and laptop equipment, managing mailbox permissions, and ensuring that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

EMR is seeking a passionate and driven Junior IT Service Desk Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to employees experiencing issues with hardware, software, networking, telephones, and other technological challenges. You will also be responsible for imaging and configuring new desktop and laptop equipment, managing mailbox permissions, and ensuring that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize assistance requests from employees dealing with hardware, software, networking, telephone, and other technological issues.
- Image and configure new desktop and laptop equipment according to company standards, including installation of operating systems and appropriate software.
- Effectively manage customer expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the troubleshooting process.
- Ensure proper follow-through to guarantee issues are fully resolved to the satisfaction of users.
- Perform basic Microsoft Exchange tasks, including creating mailboxes and managing mailbox permissions.
- Provide desktop support for Microsoft Office products.
- Advocate for and promote information security best practices within the organization.
- Occasionally provide onsite support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN network topology and design.
- A genuine passion for technology.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- IT certification is a plus (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified).
