In this role, you will be the face of EMR to local customers and help drive operational excellence. You will lead, develop and manage an experienced crew and oversee safety, receiving, production, inventory control, quality control and shipping of materials. You will bring an understanding of the importance of purchase, flow and storage of scrap inventory at this site.

About the Opportunity:
In this role, you will be the face of EMR to local customers and help drive operational excellence. You will lead, develop and manage an experienced crew and oversee safety, receiving, production, inventory control, quality control and shipping of materials. You will bring an understanding of the importance of purchase, flow and storage of scrap inventory at this site.
No two days are the same, but the typical position responsibilities include:
- Work to create an excellent experience for customers and employees while minimizing costs and maximizing volume and margin at the facility
- Oversee preventative checks, maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
- Ensure accuracy of stock through systems management
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Oversee work product of third-party contractors
- Ensure compliance with city, county, state, and federal regulations
- Analyze data, set goals, make recommendations and perform other duties as directed by Supervisor
- Management/supervisory experience of daily operations, especially in an industrial environment
- Hands-on experience operating equipment, machinery, or warehouse work
- Experience in the recycling or demolition industry, with knowledge of scrap metal commodities
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships
- Experience leading a team and committed to developing employees in job performance, safety and teamwork
- Bachelors Degree in Management or relevant experience
- Excel skills, and the ability to learn our proprietary software
- PMP certification or similar accreditation
