What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at EMS Restoration & Construction?
Ems Restoration & Construction is a local company specializing in fire, water, and smoke damage clean up serving the Inland Empire and surrounding areas.
The ideal Estimator will be responsible for creating mitigation, reconstruction, and contents pack-out estimates utilizing Xactimate. They must be detailed oriented and have knowledge in creating estimates for the insurance restoration industry. Construction background and having a basic understanding of building materials, flooring and other materials affected by water, fire, smoke and other property damage causes will assist in being successful in this position.
Xactimate experience is a must and is required to be considered for this position. If you do not have experience with this software, you will not be considered for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect and scope jobs onsite when required
- Document loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software
- create mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate
- Communicates with project manager/lead tech to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)
- Create Record of Drying Logs
- Manage all estimate documents

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
