What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Engineer L5 QKLK- TS/SCI Poly required position at EMTAK LLC?
The Level 5 System Engineer shall have the following capabilities:
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of Systems Engineering processes.
- Deep understanding of multiple communications technologies, virtualization, systems architecture, and infrastructure for IT systems.
- Proficient in designing, interpreting, and modifying System and Network Engineering Drawings (Visio, Adobe).
- Able to collect, read and interpret requirements and prepare PDR/CDRs.
- Expertise in system and network administration across diverse platforms, including Linux and Windows environments.
- Extensive experience in network and data processing system integration, hardware and software configuration, deployment, and sustainment.
- Understanding/experience in Cisco networking, including routers, switches, and security protocols.
- Skilled in network and data processing system integration, including rack and stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
- Ability to create detailed system documentation such as SPRIP, RACK EL, design documents, drawings, mission transition plans, etc.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to create deployment schedules with various stakeholder input.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Sharepoint.
- Must be proactive and a self-starter.
- Some travel required.
- Experience with SIGINT is a plus.
Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience OR
High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area) OR Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience OR PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
