Job Title: Plant Operator
The Plant Operator will be responsible for the independent operation and maintenance of a renewable natural gas processing plant, including but not limited to compression, treating facilities, CO2 extraction, gas dehydration, condensate and product storage, truck loading, electrical generation, and other facilities and associated activities.
The successful candidate will carry out directions from the Plant Manager to ensure optimum plant performance and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties necessary to ensure optimum plant operations, ensuring maximum runtime and sales while maintaining high safety standards.
- Monitor plant operations through computer-based plant interface (HMI).
- Conduct light maintenance of equipment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders.
- Shut down and start up the plant as required.
- Document operating parameters.
- Work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
- Capable of vigorous outdoor activities in all weather conditions.
- Mechanical training and practical experience in an industrial operations and maintenance setting.
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain cryogenic plant equipment.
- Manual dexterity and physical ability to work extended hours.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are required for this position as well as the ability to effectively work in a team environment.
