- Analyze cost structures, market conditions, and customer data to recommend optimal pricing models and strategies.
- Develop pricing models and tools to support pricing decisions and margin analysis.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Product Management to review and update pricing strategies based on product performance, costs, and competitive intelligence.
- Monitor pricing performance and report on key metrics including profit margins, price variance, and revenue impact.
- Prepare quotes and pricing proposals for key accounts and complex orders.
- Maintain accurate pricing databases, systems, and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Conduct competitor price analysis and benchmark pricing strategies across market segments.
- Support contract pricing reviews and ensure alignment with agreed terms.
- Identify pricing anomalies and suggest corrective actions.
- Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting related to pricing impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a pricing, finance, or business analytics role, preferably in manufacturing or transportation.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pricing software/tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain pricing strategies to cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in cost modeling and understanding of cost-plus and value-based pricing strategies.
