APEX Developer for Enterprise Applications - Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and ES&H organizations in the development and support of software solutions to meet a variety of business needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing requirements, workflows, and conducting process analysis to inform software development.
- Creating new software solutions and enhancing, modifying, integrating, and correcting existing software applications.
- Delivering solutions that prioritize user needs and business goals while aligning with customer and/or CIO requirements, constraints, and technological realities.
- Applying standard software engineering principles to ensure compliance with software quality standards in the development and support of software solutions.
- Developing test plans and conducting testing of software solutions to ensure functionality and quality.
- Collaborating and coordinating with peers, customers, and other IT service providers to ensure effective project execution and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or relevant discipline and 6 years relevant experience. In lieu of degree an additional 6 years of related experience totaling 12 years.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain DOE L-Level security clearance
- Must be US Citizen
- This is a telecommuting position but must be available for occasional on-site meetings as needed.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with SQL, XML, JavaScript, a scripting language (e.g., Python or Ruby), and an object-oriented language (e.g., Java or C#).
Desired Skills:
- Experience using Git version control in collaborative software development projects involving multiple developers.
- Experience in data modeling and writing complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, including the development of stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and providing customer support for a custom developed software application.
- Experience developing end-to-end solutions using Oracle APEX.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong background in collaborative development team environments with a proven record of consistent performance.
