Packaging Designer
Position Type: Full-Time or Freelance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a talented Packaging Designer to join our design team. You must be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, have a strong ability for technical packaging design & work well in a team. We design a full range of baby & children’s products.
•
Produce Print-Ready Files and Tech Packs including technical dielines with accuracy
•
Ability to multi-task & work in fast paced environment
•
Make Digital Mockups in Adobe AI/PS & actual mockups
•
Strong Command of Visual Design Capabilities, Including Composition, Layout, Hierarchy, Typography, and Color Judgement
•
Ability to Create Physical Comps
•
Create sales presentation & catalogs
•
Create customer specific presentations showing displays, end caps, planograms
•
Work Directly with Art Director, Project Managers, and Creative Team
•
Perform related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
• Must Have 3-5 Years of Full Time Packaging Design Experience
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for Mac: Illustrator & Photoshop
• Must Have Portfolio and Proven Experience in Designing Packaging (paper box, blister cards, etc.)
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment while maintaining an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Excellent Time Management Skills to Meet Strict Deadlines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in packaging design or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with 3 years of Packaging Design
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
