What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at Enchanté Accessories?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Coordinator will be the liaison between all divisions (sales, design, factories) working on at-home goods & accessories.
- Confirm FOB pricing with the factory and calculate landed prices.
- Create cost sheets and production timelines for each style once the price is confirmed.
- Prepare customer quotes to review with a sales rep
- Formal quotations for confirmed items require a detailed breakdown of cost including freight dims for each item.
- Item setups in the customer portal or PLM system
- Understanding of Walmart vendor guides and standards
- Issuing Walmart Purchase Orders
- Create and maintain a production schedule for every order.
- Manage and maintain WIP reports in conjunction with our China office to ensure product availability.
- Review Quality / Preproduction / Final production samples
- Communicate revisions / approvals with factories to ensure correct execution of product.
- Review all account vendor manuals and ensure that we are meeting all customer requirements for development and production processes.
- Monitor product testing to ensure that factories are compliant with customer testing protocols
- Daily correspondence with the sales team factories and customers to manage production / delivery issues
- Work closely with the design team to ensure correct presentation and sample making.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics with 3 wholesale production or related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 4 years of wholesale production or related experience; or 5 years in a wholesale production or related role.
