We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and an understanding of floral arrangements, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves crafting beautiful floral displays for various occasions, managing inventory, and assisting with sales in a retail environment. Experience in a flower shop/ design studio is required. Some Saturdays a must.
Responsibilities
Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday bouquets.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in selecting floral products that meet their needs.
Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain inventory by managing stock levels and ensuring all floral products are fresh and appealing.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
Proficient in floral design techniques with a creative flair for arrangement styles.
Strong sales skills to effectively promote products and increase customer satisfaction.
Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers in a retail setting.
Knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients and address their needs effectively.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
