What you’ll do :
This position serves as engineering expertise for electrical power integration, low and medium voltage systems architecture, system availability / sizing, and technical proposal content for Enchanted Rock bids and proposals to critical infrastructure customers like datacenters, hospitals and utilities. The candidate will be in a cross functional environment with sales, EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and management teams. The work location is Houston, TX and the nature of the role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office per week. Travel away from the office is infrequent (~5% of the year), primarily for site visits and customer meetings.
You’ll make an impact by :
- Designing microgrid systems and technical proposal content for customer proposals.
- Collaborating and leading conceptual design feasibility exercises with prospective customers and internal subject matter experts.
- Conducting front-end engineering design (FEED) on bids and proposals.
- Serving as the customer technical point of contact during the bid process, contract execution, and transition to engineering, procurement & construction (EPC).
- Coordinating inputs as needed for bids and proposals from engineering technical resources across all the Enchanted Rock operating companies and disciplines, including R&D, project engineering, sustaining engineering, and product management.
- Peer review with team members for quality check of technical and estimation content.
- Presenting your designs, solutions and modeling to company subject matter experts and leadership.
