Job Description
Basic Function: Responsible for assisting Ecologist in ecology and oyster programs - including but not limited to physical labor, guest services, safety and maintenance.
Work Performed
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Previous experience in guest service environment preferred. Knowledge of oysters and ecology a plus. Willingness to learn and retain knowledge related to area.
Physical Requirements
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity on uneven surfaces and in inclement weather.
20% Sitting
80% Standing

Job Description
Basic Function: Responsible for assisting Ecologist in ecology and oyster programs - including but not limited to physical labor, guest services, safety and maintenance.
Work Performed
- Provide superior levels of service to guests.
- Orientate guests on marina and facilities.
- Provide assistance to ecologist in oyster programming.
- Facilitates oyster program classes to guests.
- Assist with other duties or assignments as required by Ecologist.
- Ensure timely opening and/or closing of marina outlets and yachting events.
- Constantly monitor work areas for potential safety issues.
- Secure guest information while handling guest reservations or any point of sale.
- Maintain condition of uniform, shirt tucked in belted trousers, visible nametag; shoes must cover entire foot, and abide by 10-5-3 rule of contact.
