Job Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Finance Associate to become a part of our vibrant Finance team. This role involves assisting the finance team with a range of financial tasks, such as processing payments, managing accounts payable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting regulations. Essentially, you will support the daily financial operations of the organization, which often demands strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software.
Job function:
- Manage financial recordkeeping tasks, including journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and performing account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze various financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing insights and analytical support.
- Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure both accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform financial analysis to uncover trends, assess risks, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Mentor and support junior members of the accounting team.
- Oversee financial recordkeeping activities, including processing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and conducting account reconciliations.
Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Korean being an added advantage.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Not required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, along with financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
