What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative- Pre-Vets Encouraged to Apply position at Encino Veterinary Center?
** Pre-Vet Students Encouraged To Apply With or Without Experience Only **
Two (!!) of our team members are headed to vet school - after three (!!!) went to vet school for the fall of 2024! - so we are looking for another CSR to join our vibrant practice where we just moved to our new facility this March.
Our practice is not for everyone-but if you want to be in a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning & improvement, if you want to provide excellent customer service and if you are in agreement with our core values listed below we encourage you to apply.
There's a reason our team members love working at Encino Vet. We are a privately owned multi-doctor practice that provides a friendly & supportive environment where we all work as a team and everyone treats each other with respect. We teach each other so we can continue to improve our skills and excel in what we do.
We also like to have fun outside of work. We have done Rage Room, Netflix Squid game pop-up, Laser tag, Escape Room, Paint & Sip, Axe throwing, Bowling and LA Zoo Outings. We have a blast each year at our holiday party which we hosted at Barton G this past year.
Why do our clients & patients love us? We strive to provide exceptional client service and patient care. We have industry leading 40-minute appointments so that we can deliver an excellent individualized experience to each patient and their owner without being rushed- check out our 5 star Yelp & Google reviews!
We expect you to like animals but, to apply here, you MUST ALSO enjoy working with people (pet owners & coworkers!). Friendliness and a good attitude are what we are looking for.
Main duties include answering a multi-line phone, checking patients in/out, processing client payments, data entry, checking & replying to emails, online pharmacy requests, cleaning & other general office duties. We use Ezyvet as our practice management software.
This is a part time (5 hour shifts or 2 or 3 full days) or full time position (consisting of four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts), including Saturdays or Sundays (but not both unless you prefer weekends). Wage commensurate with experience ($18-$22/hr). Other benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, pet insurance stipend & pet care discount, uniform allowance, continuing education stipend, subscription to At Dove for on demand CE, and team volunteer opportunities! We also pay 100% of your medical, vision and dental insurance & have a 401k with employer contribution.
