Job Description
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Required skills :
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 2 years of professional experience; or no professional experience with a related Master’s degree
- Linux Server Administration (RedHat and SLES) experience
- Windows Server and Desktop OS experience
- DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec CE)
- Ability to work second or third shifts Desired Qualifications :
- Knowledgeable in information systems networking
- Experience working with VMWare / ESXi, VSphere, and Hyper-V for automated configuration / updates
- Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite (JIRA / Confluence) and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).
- Application / Software : GIT, McAfee, Nexus, Ansible
- Experience in configurations mgmt. of packages and patches, version control and service packs
