POSITION PURPOSE:
Encompass Health Corporation's HR Intern will get to serve as a part of a dynamic team of Human Resources experts within our corporate office. You will be exposed to a wide variety of disciplines within Human Resources and gain experience through cross-functional projects and administrative support to the broader HR team. Functional areas of support, include but are not limited to: DEI, talent acquisition, organizational development, total rewards, employee relations, and HR operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK
- Participate in various HR projects and initiatives.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on HR best practices.
- Assist in pre-boarding activities for new employees.
- Support the talent acquisition team in sourcing, cold calling, and various recruiting tasks.
- Complete all task and assignments accurately and timely.
- Proactively seeks to learn about the company and the department.
- Participates in all intern specific activities (if applicable)
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be actively enrolled in a college or university (Junior/Senior level students are preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to problem solving with a willingness to learn.
- Class experience in prospective field is preferred.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interns must be able to work in our Home Office in Birmingham, Alabama from June 2nd, 2025 to July 31st, 2025.
