A Typical Day
- Develop & Scale Affiliate Program: Lead the creation, implementation, and scaling of our affiliate marketing program to drive revenue growth, brand awareness, and new customer acquisition.
- Affiliate Recruitment & Partnerships: Proactively identify and recruit new affiliates and strategic partners, particularly those who resonate with DTC audiences and align with our brand values.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize affiliate campaigns to increase conversion rates, customer lifetime value (LTV), and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Use data insights to improve ROI and ensure sustainable growth.
- Build Strong Relationships: Foster long-term relationships with affiliates to ensure they are well-supported, aligned with our brand, and motivated to promote our products.
- Tracking & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, using data to inform strategic decisions and deliver actionable insights. Regularly report on program metrics such as affiliate sales, traffic, CPA, and customer retention.
- Budget & Commission Management: Manage affiliate commission structures, ensuring payouts are competitive while adhering to the company’s budget and profitability goals.
- Creative Collaboration: Work with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling content and offers for affiliates, ensuring that affiliate marketing assets are on-brand and tailored to the DTC market.
- Affiliate Technology: Oversee the management of affiliate tracking platforms and software, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and integration with other marketing tools.
- You have 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, performance marketing, or digital marketing, preferably within a DTC or eCommerce environment.
- You have a strong understanding of affiliate networks, performance marketing strategies, and tracking systems (e.g., Impact, CJ, ShareASale).
- You have previous experience building and scaling affiliate programs for a growing DTC or eCommerce business.
- You have familiarity with influencer marketing, referral programs, and influencer-affiliate hybrid strategies.
- You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and identify growth opportunities, and proficiency in digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, etc.)
- You are a strong communicator and able to negotiate to onboard, nurture, and retain high-performing affiliates.
- You have a knowledge of DTC metrics such as conversion rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and LTV.
- If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field you get bonus points.
- You live in one of these states: Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, or Texas.
