The Jobat aGlance
The VP Finance is responsible for developing and implementing financial processes and initiatives that support profitable growth. This leader will serve as a financial partner to our Group President, as well as Presidents and other leaders across the business. In addition to leading our accounting and FP&A team, including GL, AR, AP, Inventory, Sales Tax and forecasting and planning, this hands-on leader will provide financial expertise across all parts of the group.
You will develop partnerships with our leaders by providing them with operational financial guidance and advising them on P&L, working capital and cash management as well as actively participating in transformational projects within the group. Your days will be filled withaccounting rigor, problem solving, process improvements, FP&A, and building/transforming the team to scale with our growth. A Typical Day
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic and transformational initiatives centered on driving profitable growth.
- Serve as a financial advisor for strategic and operational planning purposes and proactively identify opportunities.
- Create and maintain a strong internal control environment enabled by tracking key financial and operational metrics. Ensure proper controls exist in the operations around inventory.
- Drive efficiency throughout the organization via the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Optimize working capital working across the division, with an emphasis on inventory.
- Drive continuous improvement by automating, refining, and implementing processes, tools, and deliverables. Lead finance systems consolidations and leveraging the data for new insights.
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger, inventory accounting, payables, and receivables.
- Prepare annual budget, monthly forecasts, and both periodic and ad hoc financial analysis. Develop a robust process and model that includes extended leaders' insights.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and educate our extended leadership on all aspects of the P&L, balance sheet and cash utilization.
To Land This Opportunity

- You have10 yearsofaccounting leadership experience inacorporate environmentof at least $100M - $500M in revenue.
- Yourbachelor's and/ormaster'sdegreeisin accounting orarelated field.
- You have a strong affinity forMS Excel,ERPsystems, and financial consolidation systems- you always want to learn new things and develop new insights.
- You are detail-oriented but able to see the big picture. You can tell stories with numbers from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective.
- You know how to use process improvements tofacilitate internalcontrols. You can balance the need for controls with the flexibility to support a growing business.
- Youdemonstrateaproven track recordof delivering results while coaching and developing your team.
